Now accepting bariatric clients for therapy, I offer support at every stage of your journey, whether you are just beginning to consider surgery, preparing for the procedure, navigating the days of recovery, or adjusting to life after surgery. My approach is shaped by both clinical training and personal experience with the bariatric process, allowing me to understand the unique emotional and mental challenges you may face. The mental health aspects of weight loss and bariatric surgery are often overlooked, but they are just as important as the physical changes. Together, we can address your needs before, during, and after surgery, ensuring you have the guidance and understanding you deserve. Your journey matters, and support is available every step of the way.

Outside of her professional work, Mikaela enjoys spending time with her two Bernese Mountain Dogs and her cat. She has a passion for dance and creative expression through the arts.
